In 2019, founders of famed antibody discovery company Adimab went to the journal mAbs and claimed that two antibody therapies described by Sasisekharan’s lab had “striking similarities” to work of previous scientists. The allegations were made by Tillman Gerngross, Adimab’s CEO, and his colleagues, including MIT professor Dane Wittrup.
