'No finding of research misconduct': MIT ends 3.5-year review of biotech founder, professor Sasisekharan
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology said it found no research misconduct after allegations were levied against biological engineering professor and repeat biotech founder Ram Sasisekharan.
In 2019, founders of famed antibody discovery company Adimab went to the journal mAbs and claimed that two antibody therapies described by Sasisekharan’s lab had “striking similarities” to work of previous scientists. The allegations were made by Tillman Gerngross, Adimab’s CEO, and his colleagues, including MIT professor Dane Wittrup.
