No­var­tis’ CD­MO arm eyes growth, scope to wel­come com­peti­tors’ clients 

As No­var­tis ex­pands its CD­MO busi­ness, it says it is al­so “in dis­cus­sions” to fur­ther boost its client list amid cur­rent “dis­rup­tive mo­ments” in the man­u­fac­tur­ing in­dus­try.

Once the phar­ma gi­ant sta­bi­lizes man­u­fac­tur­ing for its ra­dio­phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals like Plu­vic­to, it will al­so look in­to be­com­ing a third-par­ty pro­duc­er for oth­er ra­dio­phar­ma com­pa­nies.

“It’s very dy­nam­ic … It’s an ex­cit­ing time with the CMO mar­ket,” Christoph Buer­ki, No­var­tis’ CFO of op­er­a­tions and con­tract man­u­fac­tur­ing or­ga­ni­za­tion head, told End­points News in an in­ter­view.
