No­var­tis joins the film fes­ti­val cir­cuit with doc­u­men­tary se­ries on mis­un­der­stood skin dis­ease

No­var­tis is tak­ing an of­ten hid­den, painful skin dis­ease to the big screen to­day, de­but­ing a do­cuseries about hidradeni­tis sup­pu­ra­ti­va and peo­ple liv­ing with it at the Tribeca Film Fes­ti­val.

Called “The Bea­cons: Il­lu­mi­nat­ing HS Sto­ries,” the true sto­ry se­ries aims to shine a light on the mis­un­der­stood con­di­tion that caus­es painful lumps un­der the skin, most com­mon­ly in the un­der­arm, groin and breast ar­eas.
