No­vo Nordisk restarts ad­ver­tis­ing for obe­si­ty drug We­govy with new cam­paign

No­vo Nordisk is restart­ing its We­govy ad­ver­tis­ing with a new in­tro­spec­tive cam­paign en­cour­ag­ing peo­ple to “Be­lieve On” af­ter an eight-month pause on its cam­paign re­lat­ed to the weight man­age­ment ther­a­py.

With We­govy short­ages still an is­sue, the new “brand eq­ui­ty” ad­ver­tis­ing aims for brand-build­ing and emo­tion­al con­nec­tions, show­ing the re­al­is­tic ups and downs of obe­si­ty and chron­ic weight man­age­ment in the new­ly launched TV com­mer­cial. The We­govy name isn’t shown on screen or men­tioned un­til 20 sec­onds in­to the TV com­mer­cial.
