Novo Nordisk wins age bias suit with the EEOC in New Jersey federal court
Novo Nordisk is off the hook in a 2022 federal lawsuit filed against the company by the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Last year, the commission went to bat against the pharma giant for age discrimination in the case of 62-year-old obesity care specialist Deborah Hunter, who accused the company of age discrimination when she got passed by for a lateral transfer back in 2018, despite the fact that she had a commute of more than 50 miles to and from work, and resulted in one district manager losing his job, according to the complaint.
