Ogilvy Health’s new ex­ec­u­tive cre­ative di­rec­tor brings big-name con­sumer ex­pe­ri­ence to ‘less cyn­i­cal’ health brands

Ogilvy Health’s new ex­ec­u­tive cre­ative di­rec­tor Erik Vervroe­gen has been around the agency world — lit­er­al­ly. The Bel­gian na­tive worked for both Grey and TB­WA in Brus­sels, moved to Jo­han­nes­burg South Africa with TB­WA Hunt Las­caris, worked for Bozell in New York, head­ed cre­ative for the Paris of­fice for TB­WA and Good­by Sil­ver­stein in San Fran­cis­co.

He’s tal­lied up an equal­ly im­pres­sive num­ber of big-name brands in­clud­ing Nis­san, Adi­das, Playsta­tion, Mc­Don­ald’s, Ex­cedrin, BMW, Amnesty In­ter­na­tion­al, Tag Heuer, Land Rover and Ray-Ban.
