Gilead supports creation of online resource hub for Black patients with triple-negative breast cancer
When Ricki Fairley turned to Dr. Google after being diagnosed with stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer, the results were bleak. She searched three pages of results before stumbling upon the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, which helped connect her to an experimental treatment.
Eleven years later, a coalition she launched is creating an online hub to help other Black women with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) find the resources they need, and Gilead is chipping in.
