Gilead sup­ports cre­ation of on­line re­source hub for Black pa­tients with triple-neg­a­tive breast can­cer

When Ric­ki Fair­ley turned to Dr. Google af­ter be­ing di­ag­nosed with stage 3 triple-neg­a­tive breast can­cer, the re­sults were bleak. She searched three pages of re­sults be­fore stum­bling up­on the Triple Neg­a­tive Breast Can­cer Foun­da­tion, which helped con­nect her to an ex­per­i­men­tal treat­ment.

Eleven years lat­er, a coali­tion she launched is cre­at­ing an on­line hub to help oth­er Black women with triple-neg­a­tive breast can­cer (TNBC) find the re­sources they need, and Gilead is chip­ping in.
