Out­come Health ex­ec­u­tives con­vict­ed in $1B phar­ma ad­ver­tis­ing and in­vest­ing fraud scheme

The six-year saga of for­mer Out­come Health ex­ec­u­tives ac­cused of $1 bil­lion in fraud end­ed in fed­er­al court in Chica­go on Tues­day, with all three con­vict­ed.

Co-founders Rishi Shah and Shrad­ha Agar­w­al were found guilty on 19 and 15 counts, re­spec­tive­ly, while for­mer chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer Brad Pur­dy was charged on 13 counts. The three were charged with mul­ti­ple counts of mail, wire and bank fraud, while Shah’s con­vic­tion in­clud­ed two counts of mon­ey laun­der­ing.
