Ex-Tmunity chief Oz Azam lands at cancer biotech after brief detour in neurosciences
After a brief stint in neurosciences, Oz Azam — who led CAR-T efforts at Novartis and Tmunity — is taking the top role at another company that is focused on cancer.
On Monday, New York City-based biotech Inspirna appointed Azam to the CEO role, with Inspirna’s former CEO and co-founder Masoud Tavazoie stepping down and serving as an advisor. Endpoints News reached out to Azam and Inspirna for further comment, but could not connect by press time.
