Ex-Tmu­ni­ty chief Oz Azam lands at can­cer biotech af­ter brief de­tour in neu­ro­sciences

Af­ter a brief stint in neu­ro­sciences, Oz Azam — who led CAR-T ef­forts at No­var­tis and Tmu­ni­ty — is tak­ing the top role at an­oth­er com­pa­ny that is fo­cused on can­cer.

On Mon­day, New York City-based biotech In­spir­na ap­point­ed Azam to the CEO role, with In­spir­na’s for­mer CEO and co-founder Ma­soud Tava­zoie step­ping down and serv­ing as an ad­vi­sor. End­points News reached out to Azam and In­spir­na for fur­ther com­ment, but could not con­nect by press time.
