Pfizer and Novartis chiefs lead pharma's CEO influencers on social media, analysis finds

When it comes to pharma CEOs as social influencers, Pfizer’s Albert Bourla is a perfect 10 compared to his peers.

Novartis CEO Vas Narasimhan is a close second, though, with a 9.2 social impact rating — and his status is on the rise, according to Creation Healthcare’s new analysis of pharma CEO social influence.

The Creation Healthcare analysis compared pharma leaders against each other based on the number of followers, frequency of posts, number of likes received, and the number of comments, both by the CEO and from readers, across social media channels. LinkedIn was by far the most popular platform for pharma CEOs.
