Pfiz­er CEO to haul in al­most $50M in com­pen­sa­tion in 2021 and 2022

Pfiz­er’s mul­ti-bil­lion-dol­lar, life­sav­ing Covid-19 vac­cine will like­ly hold on­to the record for most med­ical prod­uct sales for a long time com­ing. And those new­found bil­lions mean plen­ty of things to cel­e­brate for CEO Al­bert Bourla, who may end up tak­ing home al­most $50 mil­lion in com­pen­sa­tion in 2021 and 2022.

Ac­cord­ing to an SEC fil­ing Fri­day, Bourla is set to col­lect $24.3 mil­lion in com­pen­sa­tion for his work lead­ing the Big Phar­ma be­he­moth last year, and an­oth­er $24.7 mil­lion in 2022 (pend­ing the com­pa­ny stock price, among oth­er fac­tors) — on top of the more than $21 mil­lion he made in 2020.
