Pfiz­er names a VC leader in year of re­set; For­mer Ax­cel­la CEO moves on af­ter com­pa­ny shut­down

→ A spokesper­son for Pfiz­er tells Peer Re­view that Michael Diem has joined the phar­ma gi­ant as head of ven­ture cap­i­tal & eq­ui­ty in­vest­ments. The As­traZeneca and GSK alum had been with Cen­tu­ry Ther­a­peu­tics since 2020 as CBO and then CFO, and he spent three years in charge of busi­ness and cor­po­rate de­vel­op­ment at Am­i­cus Ther­a­peu­tics. His pre­de­ces­sor, Bar­bara Dal­ton, re­tires on March 29 af­ter a 16 ½-year ca­reer in this po­si­tion.
