Pfiz­er inks Latin Amer­i­can dis­tri­b­u­tion deal for now ful­ly ap­proved Covid-19 vac­cine

Hot off of a full FDA ap­proval, Pfiz­er has reached a dis­tri­b­u­tion agree­ment with a Brazil­ian bio­phar­ma to dis­trib­ute Covid-19 vac­cine Comir­naty in Latin Amer­i­ca, the com­pa­ny an­nounced Thurs­day.

Eu­ro­far­ma will man­u­fac­ture the Pfiz­er/BioN­Tech Covid-19 vac­cine, and dis­trib­ute it ex­clu­sive­ly through­out the re­gion, Pfiz­er said. The drug sub­stance will come from US fa­cil­i­ties, and fin­ished dose man­u­fac­tur­ing will start in 2022. The site com­pa­ny will churn out 100 mil­lion dos­es a year, if all goes ac­cord­ing to plan.
