Pfizer inks Latin American distribution deal for now fully approved Covid-19 vaccine
Hot off of a full FDA approval, Pfizer has reached a distribution agreement with a Brazilian biopharma to distribute Covid-19 vaccine Comirnaty in Latin America, the company announced Thursday.
Eurofarma will manufacture the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine, and distribute it exclusively throughout the region, Pfizer said. The drug substance will come from US facilities, and finished dose manufacturing will start in 2022. The site company will churn out 100 million doses a year, if all goes according to plan.
