
Pharma reps return to doctors' offices, but digital channels remain important, new data show
When the pandemic slammed the door on pharma sales reps, the big question was if they’d be able to get back in. After all, field reps’ access to physicians in their offices had been on the decline for years.
The good news is the answer is yes, mostly. In the past six to nine months of physicians’ offices being open, more than 70% of sales rep interactions are back to in-person, while about 30% remain digital, according to data from Veeva’s quarterly field trend report out Wednesday.
