Public health advocates and others want pharma marketers to stop the music in pharmaceutical drug advertising — at least during the part when risks are presented.
The ongoing effort to ask the FDA to amend its regulations got a boost on Wednesday from several well-known advocacy groups and industry individuals, including Gregg Alton, a former Gilead interim CEO and a board member for a handful of biotech companies.
