Pulmonologist and frequent NBC guest in consideration for senior role at FDA — report
FDA commissioner Rob Califf is on a hiring spree — and according to a Politico report, his next senior hire may come from the ranks of NBC and MSNBC’s frequent guest list.
Vin Gupta, a pulmonologist and Amazon’s chief medical officer of new products, is the lead candidate for the FDA’s principal medical adviser role, three unnamed sources told Politico. Gupta also makes frequent appearances as a medical analyst for NBC News and MSNBC.
