Q&A: Lon­za CGT pres­i­dent Daniel Pal­mac­ci talks man­u­fac­tur­ing amid low­er sales out­look

In the past few weeks, Lon­za has an­nounced sev­er­al new fa­cil­i­ty builds, from its part­ner­ship with Ver­tex Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals on a new cell and gene ther­a­py (CGT) build­ing in Portsmouth, NH, to the ex­pan­sion of its small-scale mR­NA fa­cil­i­ty in Geleen, the Nether­lands. These moves ex­pand Lon­za’s man­u­fac­tur­ing ter­ri­to­ry with ex­ist­ing CGT fa­cil­i­ties in Boston, as well as in Siena, Italy and in Sin­ga­pore.
