Re­silience part­ners with Sau­di-based Lif­era to build bio­man­u­fac­tur­ing site

Lif­era, the Sau­di Ara­bi­an-based con­tract man­u­fac­tur­er with back­ing from the na­tion’s Pub­lic In­vest­ment Fund, has part­nered with man­u­fac­tur­er Re­silience to es­tab­lish a pro­duc­tion site.

Re­silience an­nounced on Mon­day that it had se­cured a non-bind­ing agree­ment to as­sist Lif­era in de­sign­ing and con­struct­ing a drug man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ty in the Sau­di cap­i­tal of Riyadh. The site plans to pro­duce bac­te­r­i­al and mR­NA vac­cines, large mol­e­cule drugs and mon­o­clon­al an­ti­bod­ies. Lif­era will em­ploy 200 work­ers at the site.
