Sanofi en­lists rap­per and ac­tor Ice-T for edgy flu cam­paign warn­ing se­niors of risks and com­pli­ca­tions

In Sanofi’s lat­est ad cam­paign launch­ing to­day, the flu virus lurks in a dark­ly lit back­ground, voiced by rap­per and ac­tor Ice-T and per­son­i­fied as a wolf in sheep’s cloth­ing.

“There are warn­ings about me this time every year. Some say there’s noth­ing to wor­ry about. Oth­ers think I’m harm­less or that I’m gone for good,” Ice-T says in the open­ing voiceover. He laughs in a way that doesn’t sound harm­less at all, adding, “But I’m still here, bid­ing my time.”
