More than six years since being spun out of Google, it’s still unclear exactly what Verily is up to.
On Thursday, the Alphabet subsidiary signed a new partnership with L’Oréal, the consumer healthcare company best known for its shampoos and skin care products, for an undisclosed sum. The deal is expected to involve two programs that help researchers gain a better understanding of how skin and hair age, the companies said.
