Space man­u­fac­tur­ing re­turns to Earth; Charles Riv­er ex­pands an­ti­body man­u­fac­tur­ing of­fer­ings

Rock­et Lab’s space­craft has suc­cess­ful­ly re­turned to Earth af­ter help­ing man­u­fac­ture Ri­ton­avir crys­tals for Var­da Space In­dus­tries, it an­nounced Wednes­day. Ri­ton­avir crys­tals are used in an­tivi­ral med­ica­tion, for in­stance for HIV/AIDS. The space­craft housed op­er­a­tions and tech­nol­o­gy such as cap­sule dis­pensers, ra­dio, so­lar pan­els and flight soft­ware that helped man­u­fac­ture the crys­tals. The space­craft was in or­bit for over eight months.
