Prescription refills help fuel telehealth's staying power as pandemic wanes

Telehealth may have surged during the Covid-19 pandemic, but it looks like it’s now here to stay. New research from point-of-care company Phreesia finds that 84% of the people currently using telehealth plan to continue using it over the next year.

The latest study follows up on a survey Phreesia did last year to look at changes in telehealth trends caused by the uptick in virtual care during the pandemic. Though more physicians and consumers have gone back to in-person visits, both surveys showed similar overall results, said Jai Seth, senior research manager at Phreesia.
