The bill on Mer­ck­'s C-suite shake­up in­cludes about $30M for dual CEO pay pack­ages

The big change of the guard in Mer­ck’s C-suite came at con­sid­er­able ex­pense last year, as their 2 CEOs earned close to $30 mil­lion over the course of 2021.

While Mer­ck’s laud­ed CEO Ken Fra­zier head­ed out to re­tire­ment in the mid­dle of 2021, he nev­er­the­less bagged a com­pen­sa­tion pack­age worth $15.2 mil­lion. That isn’t half bad con­sid­er­ing he was re­ward­ed for all of 2020 with pay es­ti­mat­ed at $22 mil­lion — large­ly in keep­ing with the top tier of US ex­ecs.
