Ther­mo Fish­er opens new $105M bi­o­log­ics man­u­fac­tur­ing site out­side of Nashville

While Nashville is known for pro­duc­ing the lat­est coun­try mu­sic hits, Ther­mo Fish­er is hop­ing its lat­est in­vest­ment will have the area pro­duce a lot more than just the lat­est bal­lads.

The Mass­a­chu­setts-based com­pa­ny has opened the doors to its lat­est site as part of a $650 mil­lion in­vest­ment to build sites across the US, UK and Chi­na this year.

Ther­mo Fish­er has opened a $105 mil­lion, 400,000 square foot fa­cil­i­ty in Lebanon, TN, sev­er­al miles east of Nashville. The site al­so con­tains a 92,000-square-foot clean room.
