Ther­mo Fish­er Sci­en­tif­ic is set to ac­quire the da­ta in­tel­li­gence com­pa­ny CorE­vi­tas for $912.5 mil­lion in cash.

CorE­vi­tas, which is based near Ther­mo Fish­er’s head­quar­ters in Waltham, MA, spe­cial­izes in re­al-world ev­i­dence gen­er­a­tion. The com­pa­ny has 12 reg­istries, in­clud­ing nine in the au­toim­mune and in­flam­ma­to­ry spaces, and boasts more than 400 in­ves­ti­ga­tor sites with over 100,000 pa­tients in its sys­tem.
