LinkedIn posts have landed two Big Pharma players in the hot seat, according to yesterday’s rundown of companies breaching the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry’s (APBI) Code of Practice.

The UK’s Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority (PMCPA) has cited both AstraZeneca and Allergan (which has since been acquired by AbbVie) for their social media promotion, including posts made by senior staff members on the networking site LinkedIn. Britannia Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline and Sanofi were also called out for their own advertising breaches.
