Uptick in FDA adcomms coming in 2023 as CDER hiring picks up, Cavazzoni says
The FDA has struggled to hire and retain staff in recent years as industry salaries have lured away FDAers, particularly in the upper echelons of its leadership.
But the agency has made some serious headway as of late, as new user fee funds come into play thanks to the latest congressional reauthorizations of PDUFA and the other user fee deals, CDER Director Patrizia Cavazzoni said in an Alliance for a Stronger FDA webinar on Wednesday.
