Where Google thinks generative AI is headed in healthcare

Google unveiled a new batch of generative AI tools during its annual The Check Up event as the tech giant builds on its research to improve healthcare.
Google hopes that consumers can soon get a health coach in their pockets that they can query for personalized health insights. The company’s research arm is working with Fitbit, the wearable device company Google owns, to build a large language model out of personal health data such as sleep patterns, exercise intensity and heart rate variability.
