Man­u­fac­tur­ing roundup: Cam­brex, Mil­li­pore­Sig­ma open new Eu­ro­pean fa­cil­i­ties in on­go­ing ex­pan­sion ef­forts

In June, New Jer­sey-based CD­MO Cam­brex ac­quired Q1 Sci­en­tif­ic, a sta­bil­i­ty stor­age com­pa­ny lo­cat­ed in Ire­land.

Tues­day morn­ing, Cam­brex an­nounced it would be ex­pand­ing Q1, build­ing a new 20,000-square-foot stor­age build­ing in the Liège re­gion of Bel­gium — just over an hour’s dri­ve away from Brus­sels. Cam­brex will al­so be adding an­oth­er 10,000 square feet to Q1’s cur­rent fa­cil­i­ty in Wa­ter­ford, Ire­land.
