Athenex to exit drug compounding business and axe 92 employees at NY plant
The New York-based cancer biotech Athenex has faced some struggles over the past year, but the company is moving to shutter the doors of one of its manufacturing sites.
According to a WARN notice posted by the New York State Department of Labor, Athenex will be axing around 92 employees at its plant in the town of Clarence, New York, just to the east of its HQ in Buffalo. The notice said that the move will be done by March 17.
