Beverly Hills plastic surgeon leads pharma manufacturing build in his native Ghana
A global pharma company based in India has teamed up with a well-known Beverly Hills plastic surgeon to build a manufacturing plant in Akwamu, Ghana.
Sushen Medicamentos and Michael Obeng are joining forces to build a World Health Organization GMP certified plant for $50 million. The site will take roughly 14 months to build, and will hire between 120-150 employees. The first phase of the project will cost between $5-8 million, and is set to be operational 9 months from the start of construction.
