Bev­er­ly Hills plas­tic sur­geon leads phar­ma man­u­fac­tur­ing build in his na­tive Ghana

A glob­al phar­ma com­pa­ny based in In­dia has teamed up with a well-known Bev­er­ly Hills plas­tic sur­geon to build a man­u­fac­tur­ing plant in Ak­wa­mu, Ghana.

Sushen Medica­men­tos and Michael Obeng are join­ing forces to build a World Health Or­ga­ni­za­tion GMP cer­ti­fied plant for $50 mil­lion. The site will take rough­ly 14 months to build, and will hire be­tween 120-150 em­ploy­ees. The first phase of the project will cost be­tween $5-8 mil­lion, and is set to be op­er­a­tional 9 months from the start of con­struc­tion.
