
Following student and faculty protests, David Sabatini withdraws from NYU job consideration
After hundreds of NYU students and faculty staged a walkout in protest of his potential hire, David Sabatini has withdrawn his name from consideration for the job, Endpoints News has learned.
According to a statement sent by Sabatini’s crisis communications advisor, the former MIT professor is removing himself in order to “not distract” from the NYU medical school mission. Reports first emerged that NYU was considering hiring Sabatini last week.
