Former Zymeworks CEO Ali Tehrani lands at Canadian VC Amplitude, looking to guide new company builders 'punching above their weight'
Longtime Zymeworks CEO Ali Tehrani, who left the company in January, has found his next gig — and it’s one where he hopes he can serve as a mentor to younger versions of himself.
Tehrani joined Amplitude Venture Capital as a venture partner, the Canadian firm announced last week, aiming to continue building biotech companies from the other side of the table. Not only is Tehrani excited to get back to work, but he wants to help Canada’s biotech space continue growing, a big part of Amplitude’s mission.
