Fulcrum CEO leaves for new opportunity, company starts search for replacement
Rare disease biotech Fulcrum Therapeutics’ CEO Bryan Stuart has stepped down to “pursue other opportunities,” the company announced.
Stuart took over as CEO in March 2021 after serving as COO since 2019. A representative for Fulcrum declined to say where Stuart is headed.
Robert Gould, Fulcrum’s former chief, will serve as interim CEO while the company searches for a new leader. Gould was the founding CEO of Fulcrum and served in that role from 2016 to 2021, and has remained on the board.
