Ful­crum CEO leaves for new op­por­tu­ni­ty, com­pa­ny starts search for re­place­ment

Rare dis­ease biotech Ful­crum Ther­a­peu­tics’ CEO Bryan Stu­art has stepped down to “pur­sue oth­er op­por­tu­ni­ties,” the com­pa­ny an­nounced.

Stu­art took over as CEO in March 2021 af­ter serv­ing as COO since 2019. A rep­re­sen­ta­tive for Ful­crum de­clined to say where Stu­art is head­ed.

Robert Gould, Ful­crum’s for­mer chief, will serve as in­ter­im CEO while the com­pa­ny search­es for a new leader. Gould was the found­ing CEO of Ful­crum and served in that role from 2016 to 2021, and has re­mained on the board.
