No­var­tis shoots 'From the Heart' in new video se­ries to spur dis­cus­sions — and changes — in car­dio­vas­cu­lar dis­ease

No­var­tis wants to get peo­ple talk­ing — about car­dio­vas­cu­lar dis­ease. Its new “From the Heart” video se­ries talks to re­searchers, pa­tients, pub­lic health of­fi­cials and ad­vo­cates. The in­ter­view­er is Marie-France Tschudin, No­var­tis’ pres­i­dent and chief com­mer­cial of­fi­cer, who opens the se­ries not­ing that every­one knows some­one with car­dio­vas­cu­lar dis­ease, but that “shock­ing­ly 80% of pre­ma­ture heart dis­ease and strokes are pre­ventable.”
