Sanofi enlists an F1 racing team to help optimize its manufacturing operations

In 2012, the McLaren racing team set the record for the fastest-ever pit stop in Formula 1 racing history, taking just 2.31 seconds to change Jenson Button’s tires at the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim. And while it will almost certainly take Sanofi longer than that to manufacture the drugs in its pipeline, it has turned to some of the fastest in the world to partner on the optimization of its manufacturing operations.
