Sen. Rand Paul re­veals his wife bought Gilead stock in Feb­ru­ary 2020 — 16 months af­ter fil­ing dead­line

Sen. Rand Paul, a promi­nent Covid-19 skep­tic who’s sparred with Pres­i­dent Biden’s top med­ical ad­vi­sor An­tho­ny Fau­ci, re­vealed Wednes­day that his wife in­vest­ed in remde­sivir de­vel­op­er Gilead back in Feb­ru­ary 2020.

The in­vest­ment, dis­closed in Paul’s an­nu­al fi­nan­cial dis­clo­sure re­port on Wednes­day, came close to 16 months af­ter the 45-day re­port­ing dead­line al­lowed un­der the 2012 Stock Act. Per the fil­ing, Kel­ley Paul bought be­tween $1,000 to $15,000 worth of Gilead shares on Feb. 26, 2020, and made be­tween $201 – $1,000 from the in­vest­ment.
