Big Phar­ma vet­er­an Karin Shana­han re­unites with Bris­tol My­er­s' sup­ply team af­ter 12 years apart

Af­ter more than a decade away from the phar­ma gi­ant that launched her ca­reer, Karin Shana­han is re­turn­ing to Bris­tol My­ers Squibb to head up its de­vel­op­ment and sup­ply chain.

Bris­tol My­ers has tapped Shana­han as ex­ec­u­tive vice pres­i­dent of glob­al prod­uct de­vel­op­ment and sup­ply, the com­pa­ny an­nounced in a LinkedIn post on Mon­day. Al­though the Big Phar­ma vet­er­an got her start at BMS back in 1996, she left af­ter 14 years to join the med­ical de­vice com­pa­ny Bec­ton-Dick­in­son as a leader of glob­al op­er­a­tions.
