Bio­gen ap­points Adam Keeney to run busi­ness de­vel­op­ment ac­tiv­i­ties

Bio­gen has a new face of BD.

Adam Keeney joins the com­pa­ny as head of cor­po­rate de­vel­op­ment, Bio­gen an­nounced Tues­day morn­ing, fol­low­ing a four-year stint as CEO of UK biotech NodThera. Keeney will “fo­cus on ad­vanc­ing the com­pa­ny’s strat­e­gy and pur­su­ing ex­ter­nal col­lab­o­ra­tions and oth­er growth op­por­tu­ni­ties,” Bio­gen CEO Chris Viehbach­er said in a state­ment.

Cit­ing his start date of April 17, Keeney de­clined to com­ment Tues­day on his hir­ing.
