Sen­so­ri­on part­ners on in­jec­tion sys­tem for ther­a­py de­liv­ery; Kymera and X-Chem ex­pand deal

The French biotech Sen­so­ri­on has brought on a part­ner to help in the de­vel­op­ment of an in­jec­tion sys­tem for its gene ther­a­py prod­ucts.

On Tues­day, the biotech an­nounced that EVEON, a de­sign­er and man­u­fac­tur­er of med­ical de­vices for drug de­liv­ery, will work with Sen­so­ri­on to de­sign and even­tu­al­ly de­vel­op an in­jec­tion sys­tem for its gene ther­a­py prod­ucts for the in­ner ear. Sen­so­ri­on is cur­rent­ly de­vel­op­ing two gene ther­a­py can­di­dates meant to treat deaf­ness caused by ge­net­ic mu­ta­tions in adults and chil­dren.
